This morning our Department of World Languages held a special ceremony to honor our 9th grade students who met or exceeded proficiency as French I, Spanish I, and German I students their 8th grade year based on scores from the Avant World Language Exam.
Forty-six of 51 current freshmen exceeded their grade-level goals and earned a composite score of 3 or greater on the exam, placing them at Novice High to Intermediate Mid levels.
Four students earned a score of 5 which qualifies them for the Alabama Seal of Biliteracy (world language portion).
