I have taught in Mobile County since 2002 and am so very excited to be at Barton Academy for Advanced World Studies!

I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of South Alabama in 2002 and then began teaching in MCPSS that year. I then received my Master's Degree in Educational Media and Technology from the University of South Alabama in 2006. I received my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of West Alabama in 2017.  I have taught 3rd grade, 4th grade, 5th grade, and I am currently teaching STEAM, Computer Science and Robotics classes to all grade levels at Barton Academy. I have also taught a Science Lab for 3rd through 5th graders and taught Writing to 2nd through 5th graders. I am the Tech Team and Robotics sponsor as well as the Barton Broadcast co-teacher! My Family and I are Huge Auburn Fans! WAR EAGLE!!!
